TV Series Prison Break
Prison Break is a series of U.S. television drama, which premiered on Fox American chain on August 29, 2005. The plot of the series revolves around a man sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and developed the plan to save his brother with it. Created by Paul Scheuring, produced by Adelstein-Parouse Productions in association with Original Television and 20th Century Fox Television. The originality and quality of the series has earned nominations in various awards as the Emmy Award and Golden Globe.
In Latin americas series began broadcasting on October 10, 2005, a few weeks of release in their home country, FOX, however, since 2007 the series is broadcast in Latin America through FX. While in Spain was premiered on September 21 by The Sixth.
To date have come on the air three seasons. The first two of 22 episodes each and the third of 13 episodes, due to the strike scriptwriters the end of the third season was redesigned, the strike that began in November 2007 and ended in February 2008, unemployment remained at record the rest of the season series.
In late March 2008, Fox renewed the series again, allowing the production of a fourth season of 22 episodes which aired in September 2008. The filming of this new season will be in Los Angeles, according outlines what the media
Characters
The two main characters in the series include Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). Lincoln is a man sentenced to die for a crime he did not commit, accused of murdering the brother of Vice President of the United States. Michael is his younger brother. Prior to devote all his time to the case of his brother, Michael worked as a structural engineer in a prestigious firm in Chicago. Michael risked his life to save his brother and draws up an escape plan to free it from execution. Michael and Lincoln have a brotherly love so strong that one is able to sacrifice to protect another. Lincoln and Michael are the only characters in the series have appeared in all episodes of the same, so far.
In the Fox River State Penitentiary where Lincoln will be implemented and where Michael serving his sentence, there are two important prisoners in the escape plan, Fernando Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) and John Abruzzi (Peter Stormare). Sucre is the companion of Michael cell in the prison and was convicted after committing an armed robbery, however, is not a bad man and he did everything for love. Sucre is also the character who gives a comic touch to the fabric of the series, and is becoming a friend of Michael with him to escape from prison. Abruzzi is the leader of a group of the Mafia in Chicago. It is one of the prisoners who is also involved in the flight plan and makes life impossible for Michael the first days in prison, so that this will deliver to one of the eyewitnesses to his crimes, Otto Fibonacci.
Other main characters in Prison Break are Brad Bellick (Wade Williams) and Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies). Bellick is the official captain of the penitentiary; does not fall either and Michael is always a setback in the plan. Dr. Sara is in prison, daughter of the governor of the state of Illinois, Frank Tancredi (John Heard). A Sara initially only Michael attracts him, but eventually falls in love with him.
Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney) is a childhood friend of Lincoln and Michael. It is a lawyer and makes it impossible to appeal until the trial of Lincoln. His character is key in the first season. L. J. Burrows (Marshall Allman) is the teenage son of Lincoln. It is one of those most affected by the judgement of his father and is forced into hiding in the Secret Service, therefore becomes one of the white people who want the death of Lincoln.
Paul Kellerman (Paul Adelstein) is an agent of the Secret Service, commits crimes and crimes working for Vice President Caroline Reynolds.
Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell (Robert Knepper) is the villain of the prison, a dangerous murderer, falls to be part of the plan of escape blackmailing Michael for inclusion in his escape. Another convicted Fox River is Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin (Rockmond Dunbar). It is a parent who is incarcerated for driving a truck with illegal smuggling. However, his intentions were never bad, because all they wanted was a job. Like T-Bag blackmails Michael for inclusion in the escape plan, but this does not give so much trouble.
Other minor characters from the first season were added along the same. Henry Pope (Stacy Keach) is the warden of Fox River. Nick Savrinn (Frank Grillo) is a lawyer Justice Project, collaborating Veronica Donovan. David "Tweener" Apolskis (Lane Garrison), Charles Westmoreland (Muse Watson) and Charles "Haywire" Patoshik (Silas Weir Mitchell) are the other major defendants in the series. Nika Volek (Holly Valance), is the wife of Michael, who helped with the escape plan by Michael and Lincoln. Actually married to help each other with favors, inside and outside the prison.
In the second season is introduced to plot a new major character: Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner), FBI agent investigating the whereabouts of the Fox River Eight. Although the purpose of Mahone is looking for prisoners who escaped, as the events occur Company obliges him to kill all prisoners, especially Michael Scofield. Gradually, Mahone is discovering the exploits of Michael and was paired up with him intellectually.
During the second season, were adding other minor characters, which were already present in the first season, but this time taking more important roles. Terrence Steadman (Jeff Perry and previously John Billingsley) is the man allegedly murdered by Lincoln. His sister Caroline Reynolds (Patricia Wettig) is now a candidate for the presidency of the United States.
In the third season introduces four new characters of importance: Norman "Dairy" St. John (Robert Wisdom) is one of the biggest drug barons, in Panama and is the leader of the Federal Penitentiary Sona, after it has been left without guards. Gretchen Morgan (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) is one of the agents working for the company. James Whistler (Chris Vance) is one of the prisoners of Sona and Sofia Lugo (Danay Garcia) is his girlfriend.
The Hollywood Reporter has reported that actor Michael Rapaport is the first signing of the fourth season, although little is known about his character, but it is understood that is an agent of the Government to undertake to Michael and Lincoln an exciting mix. The second signing of the season 4 is the actor Cress Williams which to interpret Wyatt, a new murderer who hired the company to stop Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows
