Sibel Kekilli Biography
Actress Sibel Kekilli is a German of Turkish origin born on June 16, 1980 in Heilbronn. Internationally famous after starring movie-On, Fatih Akin. Shortly after this success the German newspaper Bild-Zeitung published in the recent past Kekilli as a porn actress under the name Dilara, which had negative consequences for the actress's relationship with his family.
Life and Career
A casting director discovered her in a shopping center in Cologne, inviting them to participate in an audition for his next film. Sibel took the lead role in the film by Fatih Akin about 350 aspirants. This film, entitled Against the wall, became a success, being honored with several awards, among them the Golden Bear at 54 Berlin film festival, the special prize from the public at 9 film festival Sevilla and the prize for "Best European Film 2004" at the European Film Festival concluded on December 11 in Barcelona. Kekilli again shine in the film Donus Eve in the role of a wife whose husband is unjustly imprisoned and tortured. Despite receiving harsh criticism, particularly for his distinctive accent reaching some even suggest that he was putting falsetto voice, received by this movie the prize for best actress at the festival of Anatolia, 2006.
In his latest film Sibel Kekilli gets into the role of a female Jewish way of Auschwitz in German film "Der letzte Zug (The Last Train).
Shortly after the premiere of Against the Wall, the German newspaper Bild-Zeitung revealed so sensational that it had previously worked as a porn actress under the name Dilara. " That was a big scandal that hurt the actress, this being recriminado Deutscher Presserat by the newspaper, the regulatory agency of the German press.
