  Biography

Born Sarah Annie Callies as the June 1, 1977, in La Grange, Ill., Sarah moved to Honolulu, Hawaii with his family when they had only one year. In his youth, expressed his interest in acting on several works at Punahou School, his school in Hawaii.

Despite the fact that his parents were professors at the University of Hawaii, Sarah did not want to follow in his footsteps and decided to study interpretation. When he finished his secondary studies, he entered Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Parallel to his studies, he continued working in the theatre. In 1999, he graduated with honors. Sarah continued her education and earned his graduate in 2002. That same year, decided to marry her former classmate Joshua Winterhalter whom he met at Dartmouth College, and then move to New York where he obtained his first role in the series "Queens Supreme" by NBC.

The first role that won Sarah was like "Kate O'Malley," a recurring character in the series "Queens Supreme." Then earned a role as Detective Jane Porter in "Tarzan," a series of Warner.

After several appearances as guest actress in "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit", "Dragnet" and NUMB3RS, Sarah earned a starring role in the FOX series "Prison Break" as "Dr. Sara Tancredi." Apart from his performance on television, Sarah has also appeared in the films "Whisper" and "The new revelations."
