Malin Akerman Biography

Malin Akerman was born on May 12, 1978 in Stockholm (Sweden). It is actress, model and singer. It has intervened in various films like The Utopian Society of John P. Aguirre or The Visiting with Nicole Kidman. His birth name is Maria Malin Akerman.

  Life and achievements

Akerman's parents brought her at the age of two to Canada, where she grew up. At the age of 17 years, started her career as a model. She studied psychology at York University.

As an actress Akerman debuted in a series of the TV series Mission Earth from 1997. As for television SF-produced action film Shotgun Love Dolls (2001), she is one of the major roles, a more important role it played in the film The Utopian Society from 2003. In the Independent comedy Heavy Petting (2006) embodied one of the leading roles. In the comedy After 7 days - Ausgeflittert (2007) played the role of Lila, the wife of Eddie Cantrow (Ben Stiller), the honeymoon in his new love.

Akerman was on the list of 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006 of the magazine FHM said. It is as a singer of the music group The Petalstones (formerly Ozono).

Akerman married on 20 June 2007 the Italian musician Roberto Zincone.
