Harold Perrineau Jr Biography

Harold Perrineau Jr. (* August 7, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York City, USA; actually Harold Williams) is an American actor.

He studied music and theater at the Shenandoah Conservatory. He became famous through his appearances in films from the Matrix series and also at the side of Leonardo DiCaprio in William Shakespeare's Romeo Juliet (1996) as Mercutio.

From 2004 to 2006 Perrineau embodied in the U.S. television series Lost the role of Michael Dawson. Together with the ensemble cast of this drama series, he won at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2006. In early 2008 he returned again to Lost.

Since 2002 he has been with the actress Brittany Perrineau married, with whom he has a child.
