Christina Applegate

Christina Applegate (* 25 November 1971 in Los Angeles, California) is an US-American actress.

She is the daughter of the singer and actress Nancy Priddy and the member of the board of a record company, Robert Applegate. Already at the age of three months it arose with its mother in advertising spots on the American television. 1986 played it one year long in the series of Heart OF the town center. Admits became it by its role of the Kelly Bundy in the TV serial a terribly nice family (1987-1997) and as Jesse Warner in the TV serial Jesse (1998-2000).

2005 played it in the Broadway musical Sweet Charity the leading role, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award. Applegate created 1993 together with Robin Antin the Pussycat Dolls. For autumn 2007 it plays the leading role in the Comedyserie Samantha Who? the American television network ABC.

Applegate is Vegetarierin and engages itself at the animal protection organization PETA. In October 2001 she married its friend Johnathon Schaech, in December 2005 the divorce was submitted. Since 10 August 2007 it is officially divorced. At the beginning of of July 2008 was found its life partner Lee Grivas dead in its dwelling.

In the summer 2008 with their cancer of the breast was diagnosed. Since this was still in a very early stage, he was not life-threatening.
