Amber Brkich Biography

Born on August 11, 1978 in Pittsburgh, parents Croatian Amber Mariano obtained a degree Bachelor of Arts "in Wesminster College in Pennsylvania, New Wilmington, north of Pittsburgh.

After attending the Season 2 of Survivor: The Australian Outback, Amber crossed the country and took part in charity work. Immediately after the show, she made the cover of Stuff Magazine. Amber was subsequently recalled for the Survivor All Stars (Survivor 8), where figures of the first 7 seasons faced. Amber has also won the show, opposite Rob Mariano, its ally of the game which she fell in love on the island, with 4 votes against 3.

On 16 April 2005, Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich were married at a private ceremony, the Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas. The U.S. television channel has scheduled May 24, 2005 a special evening devoted to their marriage, bringing together almost 10 million viewers.

Amber participated in the second edition of Survivor, called Survivor: The Australian Outback. She is part of the Green Team "Ogakor", and quickly tied a strong friendship with Jerri Manthey, during the game, enabling him to make an alliance with Colby Donaldson, Tina Wesson and Mitchell Olson. The alliance has eliminated successively Kel Gleason and Maralyn Hershey, only Keith Famie having survived this alliance, while Mitchell Olson was returned to the house.

At the beginning of reunification, Ogakor have managed the feat of knowing that one member of the "Kucha", Jeff Varner, had already received votes against him, which allowed the team to eliminate it. In the final square, Amber won the game immunity, and Rob and Jenna managed to convince to vote against his main ally Rupert. Then, Rob won the game and chooses to take with him Amber in the final.

During the final jury votes on the set of Rob and Amber was criticized, but Amber thanks to the votes of Lex, Alicia, Shi Ann and Tom won the million dollar planned for the winner, Rob finishing second through the votes of Kathy, Jenna and Rupert.

During the tabulation of votes on the plateau TV, Amber had a tee shirt "I love Rob," confirming that their love story began on the island had continued even after the island. Before the counting of votes, Rob asked Amber to marriage, which it accepted.
