Alesha Dixon (* October 7, 1978 in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England), better known by his name
Alesha, and is one of 7 siblings born to English mother and Jamaican father.
It was a component of female English trio Mis-Teeq, and is also master of ceremonies, composer, singer, TV presenter and occasional model.
It is planned that his debut solo album-"Fired Up", is published in 2007, after being cancelled for publication by the failure of the first two singles.
Alesha's career began in 1999 when she met Sabrina Washington, which formed part of the Dance Attic [a popular dance school in West London], and together they formed a duo and recorded a demo entitled "Inspiration", who never left to light. During a hearing, met Su-Elise Nash, and then formed a musical trio. Soon they were hired by the record company Telstar Records UK, with the hearing of a fourth member, Zena McNally, and became the popular group of female R & B / Garage called "Mis-Teeq." In 2000 published his debut single-"Why?", Being the first and last theme sung by Zena McNally, because they decided to leave the group to continue his musical career as a solo artist. In 2004, Mis-Teeq made a tour of the United States and presented his debut single-there being "Scandalous" the theme chosen for the American edition of the album from Mis-Teeq, together themes of "Lickin 'On Both Sides" and "Eye Candy." He spent an entire year preparing songs for his debut album-"Fired Up", working with the best music producers Pop-R & B in the UK and Europe, such as Richard X, Xenomania, Johnny Douglas, Brian Higgins, Estelle and Paul EPPE.
In June 2005 announced that his first solo single was "Superficial" but the song was published illegally on the Internet, and
Alesha decided that it would be his first single "Lipstick".
Officially-published his debut single "Lipstick" on August 14, 2006, and arrived at # 14 in the UK Singles Charts, and at No. 40 in Ireland. The single was released in Europe and Asia on August 21, taking very little success. The second single would be published in "Knock Down" on October 30, 2006, reaching # 45 in its second week in the UK Singles Charts, bad position for the singer, falling to # 68 in its third week.
On November 6, date of the release of its debut album-"Fired Up", the website exclusively
AleshaDixon.Net announced his dismissal of Polydor Records, and non-release of its debut album. Currently, the disc is scheduled to leave on February 20, 2008 only in Japan.
In December 2006, recorded a video clip along with the rapper Ludacris "Girls Gone Wild."
