Dane Cook Biography
Jeffrey Dane Cook (* March 18, 1972 in Cambridge) is an American comedian and actor. Cook grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts, and attended the High School in Arlington. He was Roman Catholic with Irish and Italian parents brought up.
His show material consists largely of everyday humor. His current routines include diverse topics such as car accidents, as Cook at Burger King was active and mixed Nerdhumor (eg reference to Star Trek or Transformers). Cook often refers to certain places or things where he uses his own slang. Examples: Burger King is called "BK Lounge" Walgreens (a chain store, based on conventional pharmaceutical products and specialized) is known as "The Wall" and the sandwich is a "Sangwich". He also made the acronym BAMF, short for "Bad Ass Motherfucker".
Cook is often referred to as "the most popular guy on MySpace" (alongside Tom Anderson, founder of the service) because he once all friends requests, which he has received adopted. Cook currently has more than 2,000,000 MySpace friends on his list.
Another trend, which he started, has Su-Fi (pronounced "su-fai") or super finger. Su-Fi is a hand gesture, where the central and ring fingers stretched, the index finger and little finger and the thumb rolled gespreizt. Dane Cook described as a super finger "to improve the Stinkefingers".
